The man's bathroom was a mess, but that was the fault of the group of young man pigs who stayed in this hostel. It was quiet, no noise from outside and not much from inside. Staff is nice and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was the blankets we got, they were really thin and small and it was quite cold. But all in all we had a great stay!

There is also a cute courtyard and a big common area you can use. Some of us were working remotely and it was perfect, with good WiFi. Great note is the cleanliness, the common bathroom were always sparkling clean! And another plus point is the location, lot of bars and restaurants around and walking distance to many things. Possible downside: - if you book just a bed in the dorm not all beds have a plug, so you won't have your "personal" one - the showers cannot lock, they look more like a standard home shower. For some, this lack of privacy could be a problem * i tried also the twin room on another occasion and the bed there is less comfortable than the dorm, plus the moquette makes it a bit smelly. The room was super spacious though. Overall great experience for us! Recommended and we will certainly come again 🙂

A large window that led into the courtyard so there was a decent breeze. Courtyard was peaceful. It’s cheap, so you get what you pay for. I checked for bed bug signs after seeing the reviews but couldn’t find anything, fingers crossed. There was a lingering smell like a stale locker room. My friend was bothered by it, I didn’t really notice it to often and just ignored it. The showers were interesting in that you needed to keep pushing the button every like thirty seconds but I think that’s to save water and it made the shower entertaining. The doors do lock. The lights constantly flickering the entire shower time was annoying but not the worst. Bathrooms were cleaned every day on this floor. Berlin is for going out and this was perfect as a simple place to sleep, the location was near tons of delicious cheap food (best Indian food I’ve had in ages) clubs, book stores, young people walking around smoking and getting coffee, easy to reach the metro to get to other areas with fantastic museums. Close to the river for walks, yes you will encounter a lot of people staying in the park but we never had any problems. The reception staff were nice enough when I had questions and at check in.
